CICES Dinner in Hong Kong

FIG Vice President Winnie Shiu attended the dinner

It is my honour for attending the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) annual dinner in Hong Kong in my capacity as the Vice President of the @International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and to be among such esteemed professionals and leaders in the field.

Attending the CICES annual dinner allowed me to witness firsthand the commitment and passion that CICES members have for their work. The event was a perfect platform for networking, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaborations. It was a pleasure to connect with fellow professionals who are equally dedicated to the advancement of surveying and geospatial sciences.

It’s great for having a fruitful discussion with President Batsetswe Motsumi and CEO Simon Hamlyn on the numerous benefits of being a member of FIG. I appreciate their insights and dedication to advancing the surveying profession globally, and am truly excited about the future prospects of our collaboration. The discussions we had at the event have laid the foundation for future cooperation between FIG and CICES. I look forward to the possibility of members of CICES attending future FIG events where we can continue to exchange ideas, promote best practices, and work together to address the challenges and opportunities in our industry.
