Geo-Reference Engineering Consultants has been a FIG
corporate Member since 2017, a unique engineering consultancy
firm working since its inception in 2004 to exceed our
customers' expectations, not merely satisfy their needs. This
drives everything we do. We understand that no two
projects are ever the same, nor are the goals of any two customers,
so we make sure right from the start we're fully in tune with
their objectives and tailor every service to meet them. |
We specialize in provision of topographic, planimetric and cadastral mapping, in addition to utility mapping, geodetic survey, GPS applications, aerial photography, orthophoto production, geographic information systems "GIS" consulting and data acquisition, parcel-based land information systems "LIS" establishment and operation, vectorization, data conversion, data integration, database design, AM/FM application, and other spatially related information system applications and surveying related consultancy services.
We provide our services as consultants in all the above-mentioned
fields with more emphasis and comprehensive experience do exist in
providing solutions for projects of a more complex nature.
Geo-Reference is also specialized in research and training on geomatics
and cadastral registration, programming and IT applications, development
of procedures and manuals for project management, project monitoring,
and development of user’s guide and manuals.
We carryout projects and provide consultancy services to a wide spectrum of clients in both the public and private sector such like Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Municipal and rural affairs, Ministry of defense, Ministry of environment, water and agriculture, and the Saudi Authority for industrial cities and technology zones, to name a few. From time to time we collaborate and cooperate with some overseas companies to complement our expertise and resources to respond to RFPs for some large complicated projects.
Eng. Abdullah M. Shedayed, President Geo-Reference has a MSc Degree in Geodetic science from Ohio University, USA, and two postgraduate Diplomas in Cadastral Registration and (GIS). from Sweden & Australia, He is a pioneer in the field of Geomatics in Saudi Arabia, as he served at highest executive Government levels for over 38 years. With in-depth knowledge of needs of Saudi organizations, he is the key person for the success of many mapping projects. President of Geo-Reference has served as General Director of Surveying & Mapping Dept. Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs, Assistant Deputy Minister for Surveying & Lands, and Deputy Minister for Planning & Programming. He is also a member of the board of directors in prominent organizations.
LAND and MANKIND, it’s a tale of an extended close companionship,
from therein he was emerged, and will then come back to rest therein.
It’s him who dwells it and it’s him who developed and shaped its
features.
Human, great expectations, which stems from their hopes and their
striving for a decent prosperous life and sustainable development, it’s
really a human urge, which requires us to have real and live view of
land, to detect what changes and transformations are therein, and to
structure and represent its natural features, through utilizing advanced
technical means.
It’s from this point that the concept of establishing Geo-Reference has
been emerged, with view to be the reference, in providing high quality
Geospatial Data, information systems, and to provide reliable advisory
services, suitable solutions which will be of great help for both
private and public sectors, to enhance capability, in dealing with and
managing land and land related rights and laying the foundations for
sustainable and equitable use of land.
