Ms. Nsame Nsemiwe from Zambia was the winner of the FIG Congress Prize 2006. The prize was given for her two papers provided to the competition.		 Click picture for bigger format.
At the opening ceremony the DVW Prize was given to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Harald Schlemmer by Rolf Richter, President of the Rural Development Office Under Franconia.

The audience was entertained by Bassiona Amorosa. The double-bass ensemble performed both classical favourites and the FIG fanfare with great success.
