A Historic First: FIG YSN x YILAA

For the first time ever, the FIG Young Surveyors Network (YSN) and the Youth Initiative for Land in Africa (YILAA) will come together in a powerful collaboration. This joint event will connect young professionals from across the globe with youth-led voices driving land rights and governance in Africa. Together, they will create an inclusive platform for dialogue, learning, and action on the most pressing challenges of our time. From climate change and rapid urbanisation to food insecurity and youth migration, today’s realities demand innovative approaches and bold leadership. Young surveyors and land professionals stand at the frontline of these issues, bringing fresh ideas and technical expertise that can shape a more sustainable and resilient world.
